I just bought a home made H.D. Log Spliter, And it worked great but now the unit with the lever is leaking fluid is that easly fixed with a o-ring repair kit? I can't find a mfrs. name on it any where, I have never worked on hydraulics before. Please help me.

Thank you in advance for any help you could give.

From what you have said, I would take it apart and take the seal (probably an O-ring) to a parts store and see if you can get one. You might have to have the shaft and hole meassured to come up with the correct seal size. I have had to do this before rather than ordering the seal that you know you need off of something that you know what you got. If you go to the right place you can get seals by the measurements rather than a parts number. You might have to go to a farm oriented parts store to get it.
