Hi Dave,

I made one for taking off duals on semis at one time. There not that hard to make if you like making things. I used a 4ton bottleneck jack for the lift. Look at the Snap-on book for ideas. Gees mine is even red & yellow but that so it'll match my tractor. lol

I used alot of pipe to make it. 1-1/4" pipe for the lift rails. Made the lift rollers, they ride on the lift rails, by chucking a round 1-1/2" rod disc 2" long in my drill press then mounting my side grinder on a drill vise then fed the wheel into the disc. I used 3/4" pipe for the handle and back frame bent with a pipe hicky bar for a nice radius.

I wanted steel casters but they wanted an arm and leg for the store bought ones, so I made them too.
I took some 3/4" plate and cut out a 4" disc with a holesaw then bored the center hole to 1/2" then used a 1/2" bolt for a spindle and bought some flat needle bearings for the wheel pivots, about $2eh.
The tire lifting arms are adjustable and have pipe rollers so the tire will center it's self on the lift arms. I think I used 1-1/4" pipe for the inner pipe roller and 1-1/2" EMT for the outside roller. Been to long ago so can't remember.

Fun project if you have nothing to do!

Wow, that was some holesaw, T -Bone! a 4 inch cut in 3/4 plate would wipe me, my drill, and my holesaw right out! What brand do you have?

It does sound like a neat project. I'd like to see a picture of it in action.
