The last job I had before I became disabled was a small engine mechanic, and I worked on a lot of chain saws. It is quite possibly you have a vacuum leak from the saw falling off the truck. It probably jarred something loose. When the piston is going up on it's compression stroke the underside of the piston is a fuel pump. It pulls the gas\air mixture through the carburetor. If a casting got warped or loosened it could be sucking extra air and making a lean mixture that cannot be adjusted out. Bad crankshaft seals can also be the cause, but if it was running ok before, the seals shouldn't have been damaged, unless you were passing an 18 wheeler that was going 80 at the time, and the saw jumped off. Try spraying silicon on the crankcase and carburetor, but avoid the exhaust manifold and ignition, and see if there is an improvement, if there is, you will know what to fix, however, it might cost more than a new saw.

Try a new plug and fresh gas. I recently had the same problem the plug had spark but still wouldn't start tried a different plug and started right up. good luck chris
