I saw in today's Sears ad they have a 19.2 volt combo drill, 5 1/2" trim saw, and work light with 2 batteries for $159.99. It's the 75th anniversity edition (not that it matters). Does anyone have any experience with their quality and who makes them for Sears. This seems like a cheap price. I have used various Makita 9.6 volt tools for the past 15 years. The larger trim saw and more power makes this set look appealing. I just want to buy a decent quality tool that will last like my Makitas have. Thanks for any info.

Sears' cordless stuff is made by Ryobi. Not Makita quality, but you may not need that if you don't use them heavily.

Anyway, will it last as long as the old Makitas? No. Of course, neither will the new Maks, but they'd still be ahead of the Sears.
