Is there a small sandblaster unit of some sort that will run off a 5hp portable compresor? Just for small castings.

THERE ARE SEVERAL AROUND. LOOK AT HARBOR FREIGHT. HINT IF YOU WANT BETTER PERFORMANCE,GET AN AIR TANK AND TURN IT INTO A SURGE TANK JUST FOR THE BLAST CABINET, MAKES ALL THE DIFFERANCE IN THE WORLD, EVEN ON MY LARGER CABINET WITH A MUCH BIGGER AIR COMPRESSSOR THAN WHAT YOU ARE USING.

5hp should run one of the small siphon type units or one of those picup from a bucket units.I used a Sears siphon unit for yrs with my 2hp,just had to let it "catch up" every few minutes.I now have the Sears,a Tip Pressure Unit and a Tip siphon cabinet.Running 6hp now.Cabinet was best buy I ever made, built plywood one per Tip plans, and when it got ratty, bought one of their steel units.Another cute little blaster is one that looks kinda like a paint sprayer gun with a plastic bottle, great for quicky/lil jobs like carbs/pulleys etc.

yeah, I screwed up. I have a 2hp not a 5. Can't find a blaster around here that runs on less than 10CFM. Mine "says" it can push 5.6 CFM at 90psi
