Torch tip cleaner-Help-Steve at U.S. Alloys?

I have a Harris acetylene torch. My cutting tip needs to be cleaned from time to time. The holes in the tip are really small. I have been buying tip cleaning kits, but they have a whole bunch of sizes, none of which I need, only one size in the kit fits, and its a really fine wire. After a few cleanings, this size breaks, and then the rest of the kit is worthless. The other day I saw a pencil type holder thing at the hardware store for cleaning tips. It said it was for drill bits, size 67-77 or something like that. I couldn't find any drill bit that small? wish I could find something better than the kits I'm buying. Maybe one of you guys-like Steve at U.S. alloys would know more about this?

You are looking for drill type tip cleaners Jim. We have them. It's what I prefer personally. I rebuild the spray torches for our company and use those tip cleaners quite a bit. We also have a tip refacer that is pretty popular. You can call 1-800-325-1568 for quote if you like. Ask for Sharron. She'll get you fixed up.

Big Jim, All the pencil types I've seen come with some of the bits. They should be inside the holder. I bought one a while back, but haven't used it yet.
