I learned cable splicing from a fellow who wrote a manual for the Navy, wonder if that might be on the web, as I never could find a copy of it?

I got a hard copy, the hard way. Drafted 1966. It is a very good technical manual. There are many Army manuals on the web now covering a wide range of subjects. Another good one is on hydraulic principles.

Hey Fellas -
Here is the link to the Army Hydraulics manual. I have learned a great deal from this. Some of it is rather obtuse and challenging.

Thanks for the link on the welding info. I am sure we will all find it useful.
