A lot of you are familiar with welders and torches, is Rand a good outfit? I'm looking at getting a light oxy-acetylene kit, complete minuts the cylinders. Are they quality?

Are these being sold on eBay? Rand is someone's name for generic import tools. Lower quality than HF without the tech support.

good question.i really don't know as i've never heard of them...personally,i would stick with either Victor or Harris.reason being,they have been around forever & reputation for quality is well known.also,parts & accessories are easy to get & their smaller outfits are reasonably priced...just my humble opinion...
