Mike, please hang in there; like the others said, it's easy to take someone and be taken by someone the wrong way on the Internet. I've been on both sides of that fence. Please reconsider staying with us!

It's real easy to seem rude on the internet, when we only have a few typed words to judge each other.

As you cruise through the internet, you will find it's wise to wait until the first message disappears fron the 1st page before repeating it - doesn't look friendly to over-repeat oneself.

Don't ever take anyone's words too seriously, you never know where a person has come from (argument with spouse, hard day of work, etc.) and we all have a day when we type with a bit of an 'edge' - like you just did. :)

I've never heard of such a unit as you describe, so why are you being rude to me (you addressed everyone here)??? I'll help you now & in the future if I can, I hope you will do the same for me.

Best of luck, see you around,
--->Paul

Hi Mike,

Paul said it well. Your not facing the person typing so theres no facial expressions to know true meaning of a post. It takes alot of typing to get a point accross and most of us don't like to type.

Have a thick skin and stay around as this is a great forum.

Seemed a tad rude to me too! Now back in the early 60s when my brother and I were both young husbands and fathers without a pot to P in nor a window to throw it out of, he acquired one of these little wonders and after tearing it out of it's little suitcase so it could "breathe" he did quite a lot of fairly serious welding with it. After all, it was copper (not aluminum) wound. I picked up one of these a few years ago myself (suitcase and all) and tho I can't help you with more info than you already have, I'll keep it, just for sentimental reasons.
