Cut up lots of limestone for veneer with a circle saw and fiber masonry blade. if you don't need perfect ends just score and tap with a hammer and brick chisel

a friend of mine works part time for a stonecutter & they use diamond grit blades kinda like those used for cutting ceramic tiles.don't think a regular toothed blade would survive long cutting sandstone.kinda like trying to cut a grinder wheel...ABRASIVE!!!

Hi Arthur,

I've used fiberglass masonary blades that work well on firebrick but very dusty if you don't use some water. I have an old circular saw that I use for cutting things that will screw up a good saw.

T-Bone, Spelling lesson for today, MASONRY not MASONARY. Only one "a" in the word. Take it from a bricklayer. Have a nice day.
