any mathemeticians? I've changed a fan pulley on a 6/71 from a 7 1/2" to a 6 1/4" to try and solve some overheating problems in this 100 plus degree weather. Am I just speeding the fan up app. 17% or is it faster than this? My only other option is to move the trans. cooler to a different location and put a electric fan on it. (which might be the right thing to do as it almost covers the entire radiator front.) Thanks for your input.

I think Rod is correct that you have speeded it up 20%, but I really think SuzieQ is your best choice.
