Saw a fellow using one of these recently. Man, could I put one to good use! Price with tax here is over $600.00!!! Have any of you experience with one of these? Hate to blow the Social Security check on one of these, but falling off a ladder is not so much fun as it was 50 years ago. $600.00 doesn't pay for much medical treatment either.

I have one and really like it. I use it to remove branches from around edges of fields and hanging over corrals. Much safer than the man in a loader bucket with a chain saw that we used before.

We have one and love itHave puy problalt 30 gallon of gas thru it as a result of ice storm in january Absolutly no problems. We have also trimmed the farmstead and road banks and crick banks.Ican reachalmost 28 ft high standinding loader bucket. Iknow all about the dangers of said practice but dont have a bucket truck and am very careful and trusting of my brother on tractor. So chainsaw comments are welcome but please... dont start running me down about doing this way Steve

Hi Bus Driver,
I'm in the same shape. I have wanted one for years and just can't find the extra dollars. Every time I see someone using one, I stop and watch a while. Sure looks like it beats dragging a ladder around in the back of the truck.

Have sold about 30 since they came out. Started with an ice storm, the town crews loved them. Now the farmers are buying then to take down branches at edge of fields.
Quite trouble free, requires a little finess, that chainsaw blade is WAY out there.
I have 1 operator that has twisted 2 shafts, but no others. Like I said, finess.
