Recently I was given a model 90070-71 multi mig welder. The welder looks almost new but the only literature is a warranty card that was never sent in. I can arc and heli-arc well but never have tried mig. Anyone ever heard of Muti Mig / have a manual they would be willing to copy and fax or have any suggestions on mig welding?

Go to the link and scroll down to "multi-mig". There are several posts concerning that welder.

Hi Rod,

Are what there calling multi-mig machines is where you can use the machine for stick, Tig and Mig?

From what reading I did, I also gather multi-mig was a overseas brand name?

Hi T_Bone,

I really don't know anything at all about the Multi Mig machines. I happend to recall the brand name in browsing the noted site and thought I would point it out to PJM since there were several posts about them. One of the posts suggested it was indeed an overseas brand...Australia?...I can't remember.
