Hi, Im looking for {#10} sqaure head bolts. Any thoughts as to where I can find some? No luck with MSC. My father is building a half scale gold D John Deere and is wanting the bolts for the homemade radiator. Thank you!

If you didn't need very many and could find some square bar stock the size of the head it wouldn't be much of a job.

How about someone with a lathe making them, ofcourse then you need a milling machine to make the heads square. How many does he need? It isn't like I don't have enough to do, but It would be interesting to make a few. Are they 24 or 32 threads? How long? What size square?

You still didn't tell me how many you need. That is the thing, if it is only 5 or 10, not a big deal, but if it is 20 or 30 it gets to be a production thing and I am not as big on that for the time and boredom factor. Still wouldn't mind doing a few of them though. You can keep me in mind and if you get desperate, will e mail me with the size. But just for the heckof it, how many, how long, what thread, and size head?

Tom, I talkd to my father, and he has decided to use a square nut, with slotted round head machine screws. He will put the screw in from the bottom and then grind the left over bolt down to the nut. Thanks again fo the offer!
