 The Perkins is a 4 cylinder diesel vintage 1994, and the Caterpillar that the Perkins is in, is a 12,500 lb capacity cushion tire forklift, also 1994. Would like to find original sales literature, and service, operations and parts manuals. Ironically, the thing that was free originally...the sales brochure, may be the hardest to come by, as all the manuals are available from CAT dealers, but insanely expensive and 6 week delivery. Also ironic is the fact that it would probably be easier to find older sales literature than it is for late model equipment like this, as folks "collect" the old stuff and throw out the newer stuff ! I called a couple of dealers hoping a salesman kept a piece or two, but, just like auto dealers, they throw every piece out when new models come in. Anyone deal in "old forklift" literature ??
