Steve, I bought some castiron welding rod from US.
923, 924, and 923 mig. I have an unstyled "B" JD frame that I need to weld. (They are giving me a '36 "A" JD for doing the job.) Which rod is the best to use? The casting is about one inch or thicker. Or would that be a good place to use the wire? Which one for welding engine blocks?
Thanks, Norman

Hey Steve, just want to let you know how well that 320 Al you sell works. Customer came in the other day with a sprayer (in a panic),couldn't Tig or spool gun the cracked fitting with removing the shroud and pump. Got the trusty 1/8" 320 out, did the backside with a mirror and away we go, customer tickled pink, money in the bank, referral work in the yard :-)
Thanks!
Bill

Thanks Bill. It's always nice to hear things like that. That referral you got was great wasn't it? An old friend of mine would say that man was "an unpaid salesman". Those are definitely the most influential ones.
Steve
