Mornin!

I see lots of discussions on picking a P/W, but has anybody found a good, inexpensive, reliable place to get parts?

I need to rebuild the pump, etc on my 2 yr old Generac (generic?) 3000 psi w/ Honda engine.

Thanks!

Ralphie

Ralphi..... Yesterday I paid the bill for having my Generac 2300 psi unit repaired. Had to replace the pump. It is only two years old with a 6.5 hp Briggs Intek engine. Still looks and runs like new. I had used mine maybe a dozen times and the head on the pump cracked. The General pump, utilized on mine and most other Generac units is rebuildable, though usually not economical to do so! I replaced mine with an AR pump, which, hopefully, will last longer and be easier/less expensive to rebuild. Cost me 400 bucks! I bought my washer at Home Depot, and was advised by them to junk it and buy a new one! I guess your experience proves the fallacy of that argument. I would recommend, if your engine and the rest of the washer is in good shape, to buy a new AR or Teel pump. Mine works great now. Good luck and all the best....Greg
