Hi Barry,

I have a Craftsman saw that was made by Poulan. It is 26 years old. It has needed no major repairs, but any parts I've needed were always available from Sears. Recently I apparently got some "bad" gas. Several rubber/plastic fuel system parts were damaged. Unfortunately Sears no longer listed some of the parts my old saw needed. My friend who sells and repairs saws sent me to a shop that, until recently, had been a Poulan dealer for many years. I walked in the store carrying the needed parts in a zip-lock bad. One of the employees glanced at the bag in my hand and said, "it looks like you're working on a Poulan Model XXXX. They had most of the parts in stock and ordered the rest.

The point of this story is that if there is an "old" Poulan dealer in your area, they should be able to identify the saw on sight. Good luck...Al English
