I was thinking about buying the Husky 1/2 drive in the 25 to 250 foot pound range. It will first be used on a Mercruiser outdrive. The max torque it will be used for is approx. 210 foot pounds. Can anyone tell me if this is a good wrench ? I'm not a pro mechanic but end up doing a head from time to time too. Is it accurate and consistent?

I have owned and used a husky torque wrentch for three years as an industrial mechanic. It was used mostly in the high range, 100 to 210 flbs. It finally broke so I returned it and they gave me a new one. My Craftsman only lasted about a year and a half. The warrenty was only one year compared to the husky lifetime. If I had to buy another I think the biggest bang for the buck is the Husky.
