I bought a new victor medium duty torch set today and signed a lease for oxy acet tanks. I hauled the tanks home in my pickup laying flat so I let the acet tank set upright all day. When I went to hook the system up I found the acet tank had male threads. The gauge also has male threads so it's back to supplier monday. Ever see this before?

I had to get the adapter for my airco gauges . It was about $6.00 if I remember right.

Yup, I did one time. I still have the adapter zip tied to my gauges. Later,Terry

Yup, if they are decent people, they will give you the adapter free of charge since you lease from them. If not, it shouldn`t be more than a few dollars.Lay a little guilt on them about how your weekend plans with the torch were shot to h*ll because of their oversight. Russ

I've never seen a acet. or oxy. tank with male threads. Now I know. P.S. have you checked to be sure a double male adaptor is not there?
