hey all! I posted this same question on the general board, but figure y'all will have good info for me.

I've got a trailer frame that was from an rv. 4" channel iron, 18' long, dual axles with electric brakes. The axles are 1-1/2" square tube with 5 leaf springs.

Can I haul my Tractor on this once I deck it? My Oliver weighs somewhere around 4000 lbs. I've got land an hour away, and need to haul it pretty much every week.

Any info would be very much appreciated! Thanks!

Southern Boy,

It sound to me like you have an 18' long utility trailer. Nearly every one I have seen comes equipped with 2- 3500 pound axles. So, if your Oliver will fit between the fenders, it will have no problem in my opinion. It doesn't sound like it has trailer house axles....but if the tire size is 14.5" then they are trailer house axles. I've always had pretty good luck with trailer house axles, but finding the damn 14.5" tires can be a pain in the a$$. Well, just my 2 cents....take care and good luck.
