What is the auto darkening welding helmet. I am leaning toward Speedglas/Hornell helmet. Anyone have any experience or opinion?

Thanks

Through an unfortunate series of events I found myself without a helmet(Speedglass$$$)two Sundays ago. Without a backup helmet, I went to TSC and picked up a new Hobart. It's a very nice helmet at 2/3 the cost of the other. What I like is the solar charging battery, that's supposed to last 5 years. It's adjustable from shade 9-13, which is great, but I always keep it at 13. The helmet itself is light (11.76 oz.), has good visibility (3.85" X 1.85"), changes in 1/16000 of a second, 18 month warranty, I'm very happy. If I was to make a complaint, it would be that the plain black helmet wasn't stocked, just the "painted up" ones with either flames or some kind of blue android looking stuff. HTH
