I am looking at getting a portable sawmill.What should I be looking for? And what can anyone recomend? Has anyone built one theirself? Thanks

Hi my name is Brian Heil. I am looking to build a bandsaw mill and I need sone ideas on how to hold logs and how to put a on track the mill. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Checkout Norwood Industries.They have website but right now I don't know it so you'll have to use search. I have one and it works great,bought it used. Have no connection with the company.HTH

Go to the Ford N board and get in touch with ZANE. He built one and has used it(apparently it works). He might be able to help you.

the site John posted is very good-
ya could do what i did years ago- just jump right in to the mill owner operater world
learning curve was sharp at first
