Do they make a handheld calculator with the electrical formulas, ohms law and all the others?

Any calculator will do ohm's law. It is a very simple equation as are the other practical ones (power, etc.).

There is one made by Calculated Industries Inc. called "ElectriCalc Pro". Maybe do a search on web or talk to local ecectrical supply house.

I've not seen one. I have seen modules (essentially PROMS and EPROMS) with this sort of thing for older Hewlett Packard programmable calculators.

Do you need the formulas, or an easier way to use them?

Also, might try some computer programming bulletin board somewhere. I'll bet computer geeks will be able to find you freeware with all that stuff you could run on ANY computer.

Hey Bill,

I've burnt up a few welding rods, but I wouldn't say I've learned to weld! Still collecting scrap metal so I can start getting some "stick time". My buddy who owns this thing, recently brought over a tiny little argon bottle, TIG handle and some filler rod. Going to reverse the polarity and give that a try also.

I've spent most of the winter so far building my wife a rocking chair (caned wing back rocker out of walnut, very cool, got LOTS of points!), some barrister bookcases and some control line model airplanes. Will start back into the metal things as it warms up a bit more.

The Bug is doing great though, have helped Lee weld several things for friends. Hope all is well with you and your family, thanks for the hollar!
