Stover engine I'm as happy as a dog in a bone tree

I just got a Stover Engine. It is a 2HP with its magneto. #TB210467. I am very new to these engines I have three very basic questions.
1) Oil. How much oil. I see where to add it but I don't know how full to fill it.
2) Gas. Does it run on regular gas?
3) Is there anything I should do before I start it? Like take out the spark plug and give it a shot of oil? Anything I should look at, check out, inspect, adjust or be sure of?
It is free turning and to me it has surprising compression.
Please take a moment and respond with your thoughts, I can use some help for sure.

If I remember right, on your oil drain pipe there be a pipe T. Full is when the oil is at the top of the hole on the T. to be sure, take the top cover off and clean any dirt or derbis out. the oil level should be just under the con rod when its in its lowest position. this way the oil slinger can do its job and your con rod will not be beating itsself againts the oil. BEFORE you start it up. OIL OIL OIL! make sure all linkages, rocker arm, valves move freely. alot of times people will crank an engine over that has a stuck valve and SNAP the rocker arm. A squirt of oil in the cyl is a good idea, if its been a while since it has last run. Gasoline works fine.
