I lucked out at the auction sale on the weekend and found some stationary engines. unfortunately I have no knowledge in these areas. I had a few questions hoping someone could maybe help me with
1. On a JD type E 3hp, ser#353794 What is the model year???
2. On a Fairbanks Morse model Z, the magneto is missing, Can i use a mag from something else to make it work?
3. on a 1hc type M, how do you start it? Lots of dials? there is no mag either, but there is a coil but i am not sure if it is 6v or 12v, all is says is autolite 1G-4809 5C . Please somebody help~~~~

Have you tryed oldengineadds there is alot of help there for flywheel engines. The one that has a coil dose it have a spark plug or igniter?
