I have an old pulpwood saw (that's what we called it as kids), a saw that sits on a frame with two tires about the size of 26" bicycle tires, it has a boom type pipe that runs straight forward and two belts along side to a circular blade about 26" to 30" in diameter. I think it was made in the 40's and I want to restore it. The engine has no plates on it. For some reason I think it is a wisconsin engine. I need piston and valves for it but don't know where to start. The piston has a number on it (DB186A) and the connecting rod's number is (WDA55B). Can anyone help or tell me where to start looking.
Thanks
Charles Hutchinson

Dad had one of them in the late forties, his had a 4-1/4 hp clinton engine on it. could be a wisconson, also could be a ottawa they look simular to a wisconson except the cyl, jug unbolts. if it is a wisconson take the numbers you have to most any auto parts store they can match something for you. good luck.
