I was thinking about trying to take a kohler magum 10hp engine and making it work and look like an old timer. I have a couple of old 24" flywheels I could put on. Has anyone tried this? any ideas about doing it. thanks

I have seen it done. They usually cut open the crankcase and lay the engine down. Then add flywheels and oilers. Some pour babbit bearings others use whats there.
