I recently acquired a log-splitter with a Wisconsin THD engine and a Racine Hydraulic pump. Unfortunately, the magneto and starter are both missing from the Wisconsin. I am trying to figure out whether the Wisconsin rotated in a clockwise or counter-clockwise direction so that I can run the pump with another engine without damaging it. If any of you out there are knowledgeable about Wisconsin THD engines, please help me out by telling me which direction it runs when looking at the flywheel.

Email me at goldpan @ jps.net (drop spaces) if you are parting out. Purchased part thd that was being restored and owner died. I am missing parts such as intake manifold, rods, sheet metal, and did not find where he put all the bolts. The engine was nearly completely disassembled and the only bolts still there were those for the timing gear cover; all the rest of the bolts are missing.

Does this engine have a transmission on it? I need the clutch release bearing assembly as well as the gen/distributor assembly, if you are going to part out.
Thanks

When facing the flywheel, clockwise.
