I have come across 2 Waukesha Generator sets that have been indoors all of there lives. Both run and produce power. The owner told me to get them and ALL the associated panels and switches out of the building they were installed in 40+ years ago and haul them away. I would like to find someone who can tell me more about them. I have #'s off of one.

Engine:
Waukesha FC 182-A
Serial 639254 473
1200 RPM 3 1/4X4

Generator:
5A616
Serial 126554
4kw 5kva

Both are the same engines with the 2nd being a 6kw not 4kw. They are 4CYL gasoline powered hand crank start. If anyone can help me ID these i would really appreciate it.

Matt

I am looking for more information as well. I have just found the same model engine & associated generator. A widow has told me that I can have the engine and related parts.

I am not sure if it can be made to run.

Do you have any advice?

What do you use your two sets for?

David

The engines are FC L-head (flathead) engines. We had a fork lift at work with the FC engine. It has been around for a long time. The old model RC Case tractors a little before World War 2 used an FC Waukesha. Waukesha also has a historical group.
