hi!i have a pressure washer with a 6.5 hp b&s intek 206 engine that will not start. i have removed the gas tank and carb and cleaned and put compressed air through the carb and gas lines. the plug is getting a good spark when i pull the cord, but not any gas.other forum suggestions are the timing-valve adjustment-flywheel loose.my question is-how can i adjust the valves, and how do i check the flywheel for a loose key? thanks----john

hi! on the posting i did on 4/26/14 about the b&s not firing. i had a qualified repairman to check it out and he found that the cam shaft(made of plastic!)is broken.he said the repair would cost about as much as another engine.so i will watch out for a good used one. thanks again for your help!----john

Remove flywhell to check for sheared key which will upset the timing. To adjust the valve, pull the valve cover and check with the piston at top dead center on the compression stroke. Most B&S OHV engine set at .003 to .005 inches. Sounds like you do not have much experiance. You might want to take this to a trained tech.
