Hi All. I'm looking for info on a modern motor. Your pages are all I've found on the web mentioning Wisconsin motors, The engine is on a piece of plant where my friend is the maintenance man. He's only just started the job here in England UK and not come across this brand before. It's a 107.7cu air cooled v4 and runs on propane gas only, the manual we have only covers the carb version. The big problem is it won't start when hot.

He and I can't find any info on the company or dealers for spares or info.

Hoping one of you kind folk can point us in the right direction TIA

Regards Mal

I am looking for a head for an engine that was stock in a J20 Ditchwitch machine. I think this was an 18hp engine. Is there a specical torque sequence for these heads. Your info would be helpfull. Thank You.
Bruce

Is it magneto or distributor fired? Sounds to me like you have problem with spark, I used several of these engines on Hay Balers here in Inidana, when the magneto would go bad they would start cold but not hot.
Hope this helps a bit, Skip

Older wisconsin v4 engines were quite prone to have sticking valve and valve guides when hot and would not start.
