This is a Model EY44W, Spec # 800087 Made by Fuji. It is currently powering a hydraulic log-splitter I am overhauling. Can anyone tell me what HP and RPM this engine is rated at?

I too recently bought a power washer used from a gentlemen for $250.00. Carefully looking at this nice unit I find that the engine is a Wisconsin Robin Model #EY44W, Spec#800402, Serial#165452, Prod#EY442W2080. It has a General Pump connected to it EZ3040. I seen that the pump produces 3000psi at 4 gpm. But by looking at the websites, this pump needs a 11hp engine to run it for this pressure. The only information I have found so far is this Link According to this the EY44W is only a 7.5 to 8.1 hp. Is this correct? Any information would be nice to confirm this. The gentleman I bought this from said it was a 11 horsepower engine?? Do not understand!! Thank you for any information.

Found some information on this engine from a rebuilder of Wisconsin Robin Engine and is a Authorized Service Repair for many other small engines (Yanmar, Kohler, Honda, Robin, Wisconsin, Deutz, Hatz, Onan, Linamar and Lombardini). He said that the EY44W Wisconsin Robin engine is an older L Head Vertical stroke engine, 1 cylinder. It is a 11 1/2 horsepower motor that runs at 3650 RPM's. It takes a standard motor oil 30w, do not use synthetic he said. Under normal conditions, this engine should last a lifetime with proper maintenance. The owners name is Jeff Bilyeu at Advanced Industrial Engines, in Springfield Missouri. His telephone number is 417-832-0076

I have a Wisconsin-Robin EY44W on a rotortiller and it's a beast. I'm in need of an air filter for it but haven't had any luck finding one. Does anyone know where I can get an air filter for this engine?

Recently I threw a rod in my Wisconsin Robin Engine due to low oil. I had a mechanic look at the engine and said to fix it would be $300.00 if I did the labor, or $600.00 if he did it. Parts for these engines are getting hard to find and if you do find them, they are expensive becouse these were a low demand engine. MOst people for this horsepower went with Kohler engines. Again I found out from him today that this is a 10 hp motor. For $575.00, I think I will replace with a 9.0hp Honda. But my bad luck can be your good fortune. I have the rest of the engine that is in great mechanical shape. The carbeurator, filter housing and 3 month old filter, bearings, case, pull starter assy., etc. are still good and would make nice parts to someone who has the same engine.
