I need a flywheel for a '70's model Troy Bilt tiller. The Part number is 30555. According to the Dealers this part is discontinued.

The information on the housing of the tiller is:

HH60-105101F SER 61400

Thanks in advance for any help.

Changed over to a different email server, so if you emailed on the previous one, this is the one that works.

I do have that flywheel- Used, I will have to double check to make sure that all fins are present, if you do not have the ring gear for a starter, or the extra windings for the "alternator", this should be just fine.

I would recommend that the key be pulled out, and a little valve grinding compound be applied to the taper, and rotate the flywheel on the shaft to make sure that the faces lap together. It should not take much, but it will save a lot of headaches from sheared keys.

I have images available.

I managed to epoxy the magnets back on the old flywheel and it seems to work fine. I would like to see the images you have available. I would be interested in having a spare. Would you please email the images and price?

Thanks,

Chris

Christopher,
Did you purchase the Tecumseh flywheel? I also have an old Troybilt HH60, but the Tecumseh flywheel I need is number 30755. What type of epoxy did you use? (I have the same problem you seem to have had.)
Thanks,
Joe

I may have a good used one. My book lists everything but the flywheel.

I am assuming that you have a point type ignition- Flywheel is apparently different for solid state ignitions.

Do you have the old one for a few quick measurements of thickness and diameter?
