I'd go to the I.H. discussion forum and ask those guys. It's a I.H. power unit like used on the old square balers and pull type combines.

Thats a tough picture to ID an engine,all you can see is some of the hood.Is that a red seal or IH hood?How many cylinders?flat head or overhead valve?

Larry we know it is a contiential flat head 4 cyc motor that purrs like a kitten but we need help on who made the generator part or the unit as we want to get the wiring right to use it at the cabin. if you send me an email I can sent you other pictures.Thanks [email protected]
