The thing ran great until I power washed and painted it. Since then the cap drew moisture and it would misfire after drying the cap several times it still had a very weak spark on no.1 cylinder. Now I put on a new cap and until it drew moisture from the dist. that must of had water inside it the same thing only it has good fire on no. 1 and weak on 2 cylinder.Changed the wiring rotor condenser coil, points, plugs.wires, still the same weak spark on one cyl is both caps bad.

I thought I was the only dummy rebuilding a wisconsin 2 cyl on a hobart welder! I contacted a local welding supply that is getting me the tech manual on the hobart g213 spec 4130e with the wisconsin 2 cyl eng. Mine set up for 3 years in the rain and the main bearings seized up. I have taken the motor apart and orderd the gasket set, head gasket and main bearins from ed's lawnmower in addison texas, both they and plano power and equipment in plano texas carry parts for these old boggers. You can look on line just search for plano power and equipment with your seach engine. Email me direct if you don't have any luck, ps pulling the motor while froze up was a trick to do, I had to pull the stator out with the engine and then use a hole saw to make a new hole to get to the two bolts that lock the fan [email protected]
