I have just bought a 2hp FM self oiling engine. the engine is free but is missing the cyl head. If any one knows were I can get one info would be appreciated. The serial number of the engine is 842731. If anyone can tell me a bit about this engine ie age, use , parts avail. please help. Thanks in advance for any help.

Greg, Was made in 1942, look in the "Gas Engine Mag" for suppliers for parts, a head may be hard to find!!, you may be lucky??

I don,t know yet what hp. fairbanks morris motor i have but it is in a jaeger cement mixer i would appriciate any and all information this motor is not locked up turns free have most all parts trying to get it running again so i can mix cement ( HELP ) please i have been told it is a hit and miss motor but don,t know what year it is I have the whole mixer and want to get it going it,s a portable mixer with weels on it ( HELP )

I have come to find out that this is a hit and miss motor of 1 1/2 hp still need to find spark plug number in any of the different manufactures like ac delco champion motor craft so on any and all help would be appricated
