32 volt battery for 600 delco light

you can get 2-12 volt and 1-8 volt battery to make up the 32 volts needed. the 8 volt you might have to get at a battery specialty store. i have 3 plants i run set up this way. they are not meant to run all the time, like the hit and miss engines, as this would overcharge the batteries and possibly cause an explosion. they were only used to charge the batteries when the voltage was low after prolonged use.

you can still purchase 8 volt wet cell lead acid batteries-you would need to go to a large battery supplier-i don't believe tracor supply or an ordinary auto parts supplier would have 8 volt batteries-4 of these would make a matched set and would equal 32 volts.....when in series..
