I too am looking for info and parts on a similar Buda engine (6DC844). I just started pulling it apart and so far I found piston pieces in the pan :(, water in the oil :(( it ain't pretty...
I did find www.budaengine.com but they do not list my model only smaller ones, I will email them and ask about others.
I greatly appreciate any help/info with this project, Thanks in advance, Ron Smith

Allis Chalmers bought BUDA engine company after world war 2. ONe engine they made was a 6 cylinder diesel, aftercooler, 844 cubic inch engine. I worked for Allis in the 1970 era. WE used the 844 in the 21C dozer and the 945 wheel loader construction tractors. I dont remember them having the BUDA designation still at that time. Good motor at the time. It was rated about 250 HP for the standard base engine up to about 325 HP if it had a turbo and aftercooler mounted. Dont know about the parts today, that was 30 years ago.
