I pulled the mag out of my LB engine thinking it was like a tractor and could olny be half off but I found out it was geared and I can not find a timeing mark on the mag gear or the gear in the engine I was wondering if anyone knew how to time it thanks

The hard way would be to line up the flywheel TDC (compression stroke) mark to the index mark on the engine, grab the mag and rotate the gear to just before the impulse spring grabs, then try and mesh the gears. It will be trial and error to get the mag to trip at TDC. You may have to repeat the process several times trying slight repositioning of the flywheel. NEVER time the spark to occur before TDC on this or any other engine.
