I have just come across an Ultimotor 1 cylinder, 4 stroke made by Uebelhoer Brothers, Inc Buffalo, NY
Are there any references to this motor that someone can help me with? It is mounted on a 2 wheel garden tractor but I can not make out the maker of the tractor. I am looking for hp, dates of manufacture, etc..

I have two of these tractors with ultimotors on them. The tractor is a chief garden tractor made by the great lakes tractor company from rock creek ohio. One belonged to my grandfather, the other I bought at a sale because it was cheap. I don't know much else about them other than the company no longer is in business. If you come upon any more info in your travels, let me know. I currently use one to plow the snow off my driveway, and to cultivate sweetcorn in the summer. Good little engine.

I have a Chief garden tractor with the Ultimotor on it with a sickle bar mower.I was wondering if this was original equipment.
