Stuck Spark Plug

I'm new to this website. Looks like I've hit the jackpot from the standpoint of concentrated knowledge!
I "rescued" a Wisconsin ACN, about a '57 from what I can tell. I've done a lot of small engine and automotive/truck engine repairing, but I've never had a lot of experience with old rusted up stuff. The spark plug, an old Autolite that takes a 7/8" socket, is frozen in the head. I put a socket on it and pulled as hard as I dared to without tearing out the threads in the head and it won't budge. The engine needs a rebuild (stuck valves, burned oil, crudded up oil pump & pan, etc.) so I went ahead and pulled off the head. I clamped the spark plug in a vise and have been filling up the plug with Liquid Wrench for a week or so and it still doesn't want to move. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Go to Wal-mart and get a can of P-B Blaster. Its the best stuff you will ever use. About $4.00 a can. I presume this is an alumunium head. Heat the head up some and let it cool off and then use the P B Blaster on it. Let it soak over night. I have had good luck this way. The heat breaks the rust loose. Let me know how you come out. I was over anxious on one of these once and tore the threads out. Like the man says...Heat, PB and patience.
