I don't have specifics on your engine, but generally speaking timing the magneto is a matter of aligning the timing mark on the magneto gear with the timing mark on the gear that drives it. It's the same concept as timing the cam and crankshafts, a mark on the tooth of one gear lines up with a mark in the crotch of another. there's usually a plug you can unsrew to get a look at the point where the two gears come together and check out the alignment of the marks.
Hope this helps.

to properly time your aenl wisconsin engine with the piston @ tdc you will align the timing mark of your crankshaft gear with the timing marks of your camshaft gear, and now the "x" marked magneto gear tooth must show through the inspection port that you took the screw plug out of on the side of the crankcase.
