Stationary Ford diesel hp rating?

We have a pump powered by a Ford diesel engine.
The model plate says:
Year 1960
Model 16A2-DD
Type COPB-6066-G
CID 172
Horsepower is blank and, of course, that is the
information required for the regulators. Anyone
know the hp or a possible source? The Ford web
site just wants me to buy a car.

Don't know how close this will be but the Ford tractor diesel motor built at time with the 172 CI engine was rated at 39 horsepower at the PTO. Probably 45 at the flywheel.

I have a 1965 172cid gas engine rated at 59.5 hp at 2800 rpm i would think that you diesel would be close to that. When you search the net for info on you engine instead of just ford try looking for ford power products. If you can not find any info email me and i will find you the address you need.
