hi,
im in need of finding information on the villiers powered barford atom garden tractors. I have 2 scarifiers and a finger mower which need restoration and i need pictures or paint schemes as they will need to be repainted. If you have any information can you please email me at stevos@iprimus.com.au

I HAVE JUST PURCHASED A BARFORD ATOM 15 AND IM TRYING TO GET IT STARTED I REALLY NEED A MANNUAL I DONT WANT TO DO ANY THING WRONG BECAUSE I THINK IT IS A LOVELY PIECE OF MACHINERY. CAN ANY ONE POINT ME IN THE RIGHT DIR?? ANY WEB SITES?? PLEASE EMAIL ME.

Actually, I have one of these that was owned from new by my wife's uncle. It runs, has flat tyres, original paintwork and transfers, hasn't been used for probably at least 35 years or more (and may have only been used a couple of times), a plough attachment and a cultivating attachment. I want to get rid of it to someone who would appreciate it; and to free space in one of our stables, where it has rested quietly (apart from annual starts) for the last 15 or so years since he gave it to us.

Can anyone tell me where to get infornmation re the engine, as the Barford I have runs but just has no power and stalls as soon as we try to use it ?

Gerry, I have an "Atom" rotary hoe that goes very well with a Villiers Mk 10. I have a spare engine and a not quite complete sickle bar attachment; missing the bit that turns the drive through 90�at the gearbox. . Bevel gears ? There is a guy in England with heaps of parts: tillerparts.com.; he may be able to help.
