Not for sure sounds like this is a later model, made at Olathe,Ks. under the name Witte,Gemini, may have been bought out by Lister.

Hello John
I know nothing about a 26 hp Witte diesel. I have a 12 hp Witte diesel genset that I am in the process of getting operational. I would be interested in staying in touch with anyone that is intersted in Witte diesels. I have not found much info. on them. I have found the name of a fellow in Reno Nevada that supposedly is a Witte expert. I do not know what sizes of Witte he is knowlegeable about. have a good day

I have manual for the 6HP and 12HP horizontals (KD and MD) used to run generators. Also have sales literature for the horz and verticals. I also have an MD powered genset in mint cond. Please be patient, the manual has been scanned (59 pages)and I need to reduce the image file so that it can be emaled/ftp'd easily. If you have immediate requirements, pls email me.

Hello Harvey,

I would love it if you could e-mail me the manuals. I've recently taken an interest in WItte diesels because I saw one at a show this year. I've been looking for a small stationary diesel for sometime now and would like to learn more about them. I've been looking for a used Lister but they seem tough to find in the states. I know you can import them new from India but I'm afraid I'll get burned somehow trying to do this. I'm going to use the engine to produce electricity while running on used vegetable oil. I'm interested in whether anyone knows what type of combustion chamber the Witte uses. Is it a pre-combustion type or is it direct injection? Would you guys consider the Witte to be the most popular of the old low r.p.m diesels found here in the U.S.? Any info on the Witte brand or old diesels, or where to purchase one would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you -Mark-
