can any one tell me if the fly wheel from a wisconsin vh4d will fit a vg4d thank you

A buddy of mine just bought a vg4d to replace a vh4d that he has on a stump grinder. I'm not sure if it will fit but they have been through both engines and I'm sure that he will know. I will ask tommorrow and will e-mail you back tommorrow afternoon with the information. They also have an extra engine for parts and since he is no longer using the vh4d he may be interested in selling the flywheel.

The VG4D `flywheel std. crank start #NC146 VH4D flywheel std. crank start #NC140G The VG is a larger engine 154 c.i. VH is 107.7 c.i. these are old # and may have been superseded.

the vg and the vh are not interchangble the vg's flywheel is 14 inches across and the vh's is only 12 it may fit but remember why the flywheel was invented to counter the cylinders firing thus balancing the engine.
