We recently acquired a 40 hp Bessemer engine out of an old grist mill for our museum. Any info on plumbing and startup procedures would be greatly appreciated.Thank you

I have just purchased an 8hp Upright Engine Ser. Number D101 and I would like some startup procedures, Ser. Number info and maybe if it had a magneto or not.

You need the ser. # of the engine. Then you need to contact Cooper Industry in Houston Tex. Cooper bought out the Bessemer line of engines many years ago. Someone at Cooper should direct you to someone who can help you with your info.
