I am looking for ignition timing instructions and for the original paint color for a Stover CT-2.

You need to provide a bit more info..does it have a Wico EK magneto, etc. Probably the best place to get answers is on Harry's Old Engines site. Post on there and you'll have at least ten answers in about an hour.

Yes it does have a Wico EK. The EK fires right at TDC even with the advance lever closed. In fact it fires at the same position with the advance lever in the start position. I am assuming that it should be about 10 or so degrees before TDC with the advance lever closed and at TDC with it open. I'd like to know what it is exactly so that I don't get it too advanced.
