a friend of mine needs a 21 tooth gear for a witte gas engine. I think it is the one that goes between the crankshaft and gov. gears. he is not sure of the hp, but it has a 6" piston, side mouted head, and a 1 5/8" crank. thanks

Head mounted on the side is referred to as a headless engine. I've been looking for a connecting rod and piston for a 2 h.p. headless for over a year with no luck. You might try Hit & Miss Enterprises for the part.

check Australian Ebay under witte, there is a rough 2 hp witte for sale. Has only got 20hrs to go. Its about $250 with no bids. The guy may part it out for you. Cheers Graeme
